KWWR Sports Report 11/9/22

The St. Louis Cardinals are announcing the return of two annual events.

Cardinals Care, the team’s charitable foundation, will hold the 26th annual Winter Warm Up at Busch Stadium and Ballpark Village January 14-16.

Fans who purchase tickets to the event, the foundation’s largest fundraiser, will have access to family-friendly activities as well as a tour of the Cardinals Clubhouse and the Hall of Fame Museum.

The other event, slated for January 13-16 is the Cardinals Caravan.

Players and broadcasters have not been announced yet for the stops, but it will roll into Jefferson City on January 13th and Columbia and Hannibal on the 14th.

A unanimous vote of the University of Missouri Board of Curators will extend Tigers football head coach Eli Drinkwitz’s contract through the 2027 season.

With the extension comes a pay raise for Drink, from four million dollars a year to six million dollars next year with incremental raises each year through 2027 according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The Blues are now 3 and 8 on the season following last night’s kloss to the Flyers in Philly, 5-1.

They’ll try to stop the 8 game slide tomorrow night as they host the San Jose Sharks at Enterprise Center.

Puck drops at 7:00.
