Boone County COVID-19 Situation Improves
After a number of weeks of being categorized as red or high in terms of COVID numbers, Boone County’s level is now lowered to a yellow or medium risk level.
In making the determination, the CDC looks at three statistics: new COVID-19 admissions per 100 thousand people in the past 7 days, hospital beds used by COVID-19 patients, and total new cases per 100 thousand people.
Audrain County’s community level remains at green or low according to the Audrain County Health Department.
