The Missouri Tigers football team landed a verbal commitment Class of 2023 wide receiver prospect Marquis Johnson yesterday (Monday).

He is a three-star receiver according to 247Sports and attends Dickinson Texas, and the son of former Missouri defensive back Dominque Johnson.

He also received offers from Arkansas, Colorado, Houston and Indiana.

The St. Louis Cardinals recorded their largest come-from-behind win of the season over the Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium last night (Monday). The final was 7-5.

The Redbirds got down 5-0 early in the game then came roaring back.

Dylan Carlson hit a three run homerun to tie the game. Paul Goldschmidt launched the go-ahead homer.

St. Louis and Pittsburgh play a day/night double header today at Busch.

Game 1 at 12:15 and the night game at 6:45.

The Kansas City Royals lost 6-2 to the San Francisco Giants in the series opener at Oracle Park.

The Royals offense out-hit the Giants 6-5, however still lost by four runs.

The Kansas City Chiefs have made a surprising June addition to their roster.

Yesterday (Monday) the team decided to re-sign veteran running back Jerick McKinnon.

The 30-year-old McKinnon was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the third-round of the 2014 NFL draft.

McKinnon had 25 carries for 169 yards and a touchdown in the 2022 regular season and exploded for 315 yards and a score in his playoff appearance with the Chiefs.

The Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics 104-94 last night (Monday) in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

With the win the Warriors have a 3-2 series advantage over Boston.

Game 6 is Thursday night in Boston.
