Mexico High School senior wrestler Ricky Juarez will be wrestling at Iowa Western.

The announcement was made yesterday (Tuesday) by Mexico Head Coach Gayle Adams on social media.

Ricky put up quite the impressive resume during his time with Mexico wrestling as a three time State qualifier and a two time placer.

In 2021 he took sixth place and this year a fifth place finish. Ricky was 45-7 this year, 37-8 in his Junior year, 34-12 as a sophomore and 20-6 during his freshman campaign.

His total record at Mexico High School was 136-33.

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Miami Marlins 7-0 in the final Spring Training game yesterday (Tuesday).

The Redbirds ended up 9-5 in exhibition play.

The season opener takes place in St. Louis tomorrow (Friday) against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Cardinals and Gold-Glove winning outfielder Harrison Bader agreed to a 10.4 million dollar, two-year contract.

Bader gets a one million dollar signing bonus as part of the deal.

The Kansas City Royals lost 5-4 to the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday (Tuesday).

It is a big time rivalry game in college baseball in Columbia tonight as the Missouri Tigers face the Kansas Jayhawks.

First pitch from Taylor Stadium is at 7pm.
