Mexico Bulldogs Boys Basketball Team Dominate at Norm Stewart Classic
The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team defeated St. Michael and the Archangel Guardians 68-42 at Mizzou Arena in the Norm Stewart Coaches vs Cancer Classic tonight (Friday).
The Bulldogs had 4 players reach double digits.
They were led by Isaiah Reams who put up 20 points on a 7 of 13 shooting night.
Reams was also named the Gary Filbert MVP of the game.
Michael White finished with 11, Daeye Miller and DJ Long each had 10 points respectively.
The Bulldogs would score 27 points off of turnovers.
The defense held St. Michael’s to just 13 points in the second half.
Anthony Shivers provided some excitement hitting a full court shot as time expired at the end of the first period.
The Bulldogs boys improved to a perfect 5-0 on the season.
Up next a North Central Missouri Conference game on the road against Kirksville on Tuesday night.
