Lynlee Renick Found Guilty
After deliberating for nearly 12 hours, a 5-man 7-woman Clay County jury has found Lynlee Renick guilty of second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of her husband, Benjamin Renick.
The case, tried in Boone County, began on Monday. Renick was killed at his snake breeding facility in New Florence in 2017.
Lynlee Renick faces extensive jail time, with the minimum prison sentence 10 years, with a maximum of 30 years to life. She does not plan to testify at her sentencing hearing.
