SSM Hospitals in Mid-Missouri Restrict Visitors
SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospitals are changing visitor guidelines as COVID-19 cases rise.
Effective Monday, November 23rd, the hospitals in Mexico and Jefferson City will no longer allow visitors with a few exceptions.
Limited visitors may be allowed for end-of-life situations, and pediatric and surgery patients may have one guardian or support person with them.
Family Birth Center patients are allowed one support person for the duration of their stay.
In Mexico, visitors are to use the Emergency Room entrance between 8am and 8pm daily and in Jefferson City, use the Outpatient Entrance between 5am and 5:30pm weekdays and from 10am until 2pm on weekends.
Visitors must wear masks and stay in the patient room or designated waiting area.
