Search For Man Who Jumped Into Missouri River At Boonville Resuming

A search will resume today for a man who jumped over the side of a bridge into the Missouri River at Boonville Yesterday morning.

A land, water and air search was underway for the man yesterday after a Missouri Highway Patrol trooper observed what appeared to be a motorist assist on the bridge.

As the trooper pulled up to the vehicle, a man jumped over the side, briefly resurfaced and then disappeared.

The person is described as a white man in his 30’s and wearing a tan shirt and camo pants.

The search was suspended around 7:30 last night.
