Ashland Declares State Of Emergency
The City of Ashland is declaring a state of emergency.
At a special Board of Alderman meeting yesterday at City Hall, an emergency declaration was approved related to the coronavirus.
As a result the following changes are being made the City Hall Lobby is closed to all visitors and customers.
Utility customers are encouraged to use the drop box to make payments, sign up for utilities and submit business license or building permit.
Water disconnects for non-payments are suspended until further notice and Meetings of the Board of Aldermen and all City Boards and Task Forces are suspended for 30 days.
All Ashland residents are being encouraged to limit their public contact as much as possible.
