Missouri Veteran’s Commission Restricts Access To Veteran’s Home Due To COVID-19 Fears

The Missouri Veteran’s Commission is restricting access to their 7 veterans homes due to the states first confirmed case of COVID-19.

The announcement was made yesterday (Sunday) less than 24 hours after a presumptive positive COVID-19 case.

The veteran’s home in Mexico confirmed visitors are not allowed until further notice.

The commission has not announced when the restrictions might be lifted.

The facility is asking loved ones to contact the local administrator at 573-567-8256 to arrange alternate means of communication.

The 7 homes in Missouri are located in Cameron, Cape Girardeau, Mexico, Mount Vernon, St. James, St. Louis, and Warrensburg.
