One Person Dies In Osage County Car Accident

One person is dead and another is in serious condition following a one car accident in Osage County yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened around 4:18 yesterday afternoon on US 63 southbound north of Osage County Road 511.

A vehicle went off the road,hitting a metal post and overturning, then striking another metal post and a building.

72 year old Phyliss L. Copeland of Vienna was pronounced dead on the scene.

79 year old Bobbie F. Copeland was taken by helicopter to the University Hospital in Columbia.
