Strong Armed Robbery Investigation In Columbia

A robbery investigation is underway in Columbia.

Police say they went to a report of a strong-arm robbery yesterday (Thursday) morning at 10:15 that took place in the parking lot at Sam’s Club, on 101 Conley Road.

A man grabbed woman’s purse and then fled toward Highway 63. Officers established a perimeter, however were not able to find the suspect.

He is described as a white man with a beard in his 40’s who has a scar on his eyebrow.

He was last seen wearing a green camouflage beanie type hat with a green sweater and brown khaki pants.

The victim was not injured, anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers.
