Two People Dead In Murder/Suicide In Columbia

Two people are dead after what police are saying is a murder suicide in Columbia early this morning.

Multiple law enforcement agencies went to a house in the area West Brown School Road and North Creasy Springs Road after receiving a call for a disturbance and reports of shots fired.

According to KRCG Channel 13, when deputies arrived at the home, they were shot at 3-5 times, no one was injured.

Then an intentional fire was started inside the house.

Authorities say they tired to communicate with people inside the home with a megaphone.

Around 3 this morning deputies say they found 2 bodies, a male and female, in the home.

The investigation is continuing the names of the of the deceased have not been released at this time.
