Two Charged With Starting Fire At Salvation Army Building In Jefferson City
2 people are now charged with starting a fire in the Salvation Army on Michigan Street in Jefferson City.
Police arrested Guinn K. Burke and William J. Musgrove, both of Jefferson City after the incident on Monday afternoon.
Both allegedly admitted to being in the building at the time of the fire.
During an interview, Burke told police Musgrove started the fire and she was using it to warm her hands.
Musgrove claims Burke started the fire according to court documents.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Burke was charged with first-degree attempted arson, and Musgrove was charged with first degree attempted arson and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
