According to the chamber’s website, SSM Audrain Hospital employees the most with 425.

Coming in next is True Manufacturing with 415 employees.

Then the Mexico Public School District with 346.

Rounding out the list is Wal-Mart with 300 employees.

A recent report released by the city of Mexico’s economic development department shows the current unemployment rate in Mexico sits at 2.4%, with an average annual wage estimated to be $36,636.
