Mexico Superintendent Set To Retire
The superintendent of Mexico Public Schools announced his retirement to the Board of Education at their last meeting.
Dr. Zach Templeton is in his third year as superintendent of the district and served as assistant for five years prior to that.
Dr. Templeton will retire in June, and plans to relocate to Tennessee with his family.
The board of education is currently exploring the option of a superintendent search from an outside educational organization.
The new superintendent will begin in July of 2020.
