Teens Facing Attempted Poaching, Weapons Charges
Two teens in Audrain County were arrested for attempted poaching and a weapons violation that took place on Saturday night.
According to the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office, Jakob Bradley of Rush Hill and Matthew Harrison of Mexico, both 17 years old, were arrested after deputies investigated a reported incident in the 14000 block of Audrain Road 913.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined the suspects allegedly discharged a firearm from a truck at deer near the roadway and near an occupied residence before fleeing the area.
A witness followed the truck, and while the suspects were fleeing they traveled off the roadway along Audrain Road 965 struck a fence and left the scene.
The Missouri Department of Conservation and the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted in the investigation.
