Pettis County Death Investigation

A death investigation is underway in Pettis County after a Pilot Grove man was found unresponsive on Tuesday.

According to the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department they went to a possible assault in the 200 block of East Henry Street in Green Ridge on Tuesday night.

Deputies say they found people outside of a house, including 32 year old James Andrew Grill.

After resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful, Gill was pronounced dead.

The cause of death has not yet been determined.
