City Of Columbia Settles With Curry Family

The city of Columbia has reached a settlement with the family of a four year old girl killed after being hit by a police cruiser on January 4 at Battle High School.

Gabriella Curry died when 27 year old Andria Heese, a Columbia Police Officer, attempted to park on the sidewalk to watch the students load onto the buses.

The crash report says Curry was walking on the sidewalk when she was struck, and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The details of the settlement are currently sealed.
