Missouri Route Fifteen Reopening

Missouri Route 15 north of Mexico is reopening today (Thursday) after it was closed due to damage caused by a gas line explosion early Sunday morning.

The Missouri Department of Transportation crews have made temporary repairs to nearly 1000 feet of the roadway.

MODOT reports they are working with the pipeline and a contractor to make permanent repairs to the roadway once temperatures are more suitable for the work.
