SSM Health and University Health Care To Hold Three Public Forums

SSM Health and University of Missouri Health Care will host a series of open forums this week about the future of health care in Mid Missouri.

The two health systems announced in August they signed a Letter of Intent to transfer ownership of St. Mary’s Hospital in Audrain and Jefferson City to MU Health.

Starting tonight (Monday) in Jefferson City community members are invited to ask questions and hear directly from SSM Health and MU Health Care leadership.

The open forum tonight (Monday) takes place at the Missouri Special Olympics Training for Life Campus from 5:30 to 7:30.

Another forum takes place on Wednesday morning in Mexico at the Presser Performing Arts Black Box Theatre from 8-9.

And a third open forum takes place on Monday, December 17th in Jefferson City.
