Needy Families To Receive Thanksgiving Dinner

Thirty needy families will have Thanksgiving dinner because of a collaborative effort between the Northeast Community Action Corporation, Save-A-Lot and Meridian Waste Eagle Ridge Landfill in Bowling Green.

Meridian Waste Eagle Ridge Landfill has donated 30 Thanksgiving baskets. Each box contains traditional items for a Thanksgiving dinner for four people including a frozen turkey, stuffing, gravy, green beans, cranberry and pumpkin pie.

The families receiving the baskets have already been selected.
