I70 Semi Truck Crash
Eastbound Interstate 70 was shut down for about an hour this morning [Friday] after a semi truck hauling car batteries flipped at the 122 mile marker at around 7:30.
The semi truck was approaching slow traffic on the interstate and was unable to reduce speed in time, rear ending another vehicle before flipping.
The batteries in the trailer were leaking battery fluid onto the highway.
The Department of Natural Resources will arrive later today to evaluate the car batteries.
