Columbia Man Sentenced In Federal Court To 6 Years

A Columbia man was sentenced in federal court today [Wednesday] for heroin trafficking and for illegally possessing a firearm.

Thirty nine year old Horashio Antoine Pritchett was sentenced to 6 years and 3 months in federal prison without parole.

On June 6, Pritchett pleaded guilty to possessing heroin with intent to distribute and being a felon in possession of a firearm after a search warrant was served at his residence in 2016.

Pritchett told investigators he had obtained one to two ounces for heroin every two weeks for two years.
