Kander Dropping Out of KC Mayoral Race Cites Depression and PTSD
Former U.S. senate candidate Jason Kander is announcing that he is withdrawing his candidacy in the Kansas City Mayoral race to deal with depression and PTSD.
In a letter posted on Facebook yesterday (Tuesday) Kander says he was in denial of having PTSD for 11 years, and went on to say he has suicidal thoughts and denied having PTSD in his book.
Kander says he went to the VA in Kansas City earlier this week to seek help for his depression and PTSD.
