MU Basketball Player Arrested For DWI
A Missouri Basketball player is now suspended after an arrest yesterday (Sunday) morning for a DWI.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department arrested Mitchell Smith early yesterday (Sunday) morning, he was released after posting a five hundred dollar bond.
An official from the team says Smith will be suspended from team activities for a minimum of one week per the policy in the Missouri student-athlete handbook.
Smith joins Tiger athletes Noah Robinson and Jordan Barnett with a DWI arrest this year.
MU Basketball starts the new season on November 6th.
