Moberly Driver Causes Serious Damage to Fraternal Order of Eagles Building

Serious damage is being reported to the Fraternal Order of Eagles building in Moberly after a driver hit the building with his car early this (Friday) morning.

It happened around 5:12 this (Friday) morning at 1408 North Morley, when a man was driving a 2001 Dodge pick up failed to stop for a stop sign on Sparks Avenue and continued across North Morely Street colliding with the west wall of the building.

Witnesses say the vehicle then backed onto North Worley and left.

Police say the vehicle and the driver a 57 year old Moberly man were later located and taken into custody.

The driver had minor injuries.
