Bevier Woman Killed in Macon County Accident

A Bevier woman is dead and her husband is in serious condition after an accident in Macon County last (Thursday) night.

Missouri Highway Patrol says it happened on Route C, one tenth of a mile south of the Bevier city limits.

A vehicle driven by 74 year old Philip C. Long hit a deer in the road and he and his wife 75 year old Sheila M. Long were ejected.

Sheila Long was pronounced dead at the Samaritan Hospital.

Phillip Long was taken to the University Hospital in serious condition.
