Moberly City Council Votes to Increase Sewer and Water Rates

Moberly residents will be seeing a 3.5 percent rate increase on their water and sewer bill after September 1st.

The city council approved the increase last (Tuesday) night.

The price will go from $1.41 to $1.51 per one hundred gallons.

Also a change of one dollar will be added to the base sewer rate.

The Moberly City Council also voted to purchase twenty nine cameras and video evidence management software for the police department.
