Man Taken to Hospital After Being Shot in Downtown Columbia

An investigation is ongoing after two shootings in downtown Columbia early yesterday (Sunday) morning.

A man suffered a non-life threatening gun shot wound in the area of 10th and Broadway around 1:30 yesterday (Sunday) morning where crowds had gathered after leaving area bars.

He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

No suspects were able to be identified.

More shots fired were heard a short time later on Williams and Ann.

No suspects or property damage reported.

Police say it is unknown if the incidents are connected.
