Firefighters To Undergo Water Rescue Training July 10, 2018

The Columbia Fire Department will be working with the Jefferson City Fire Department to provide water rescue training to new recruits from both departments.

The training will be taking place in the Missouri River and will cover identifying and donning appropriate personal protective equipment, effectively and efficiently moving a rescue victim into a boat and other pertinent training items.

The training will take place tomorrow [Wednesday] at 1:00 at Carl R. Noren River Access.
