The Special Olympics of Missouri is holding their annual sports camp at the Missouri Military Academy this week.
Individuals with intellectual disabilities attend the camp to learn the basics of sports such as tennis, golf and flag football.
Some athletes are attending the camp before their trip to the U.S. Games in Seattle next week. The games will be broadcast on ESPN.
Thomas Cleek will be participating in the U.S. games in golf. He has been playing since he was 3 years old, and has moved onto teaching others.
The sports camp has taken place in Mexico for 17 years.
