Mexico Public Safety is investigating and asking for information about a stolen truck.

According to the department they received a report about a stolen 2004 Ford F-150 truck yesterday (Tuesday).

Police say a man went into a business and parked his truck in the parking lot unlocked with keys inside and when he returned 20-30 minutes later it was gone.

Public Safety found the truck about 6 this morning abandoned on East Liberty near the US 54 bypass.

It is possible the vehicle was involved in a crash in rural Audrain County.
