Callaway Chamber of Commerce Earns Award of Excellence for The Local Lemon Program

The Callaway Chamber of Commerce has received the Award of Excellence for Programs & Campaigns from the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Missouri (CCEM) for its youth entrepreneurship initiative, The Local Lemon.

This award was presented at the CCEM Fall Conference, held in Blue Springs, MO. The Local Lemon program provides young people in Callaway County with the opportunity to develop business skills by setting up their own lemonade stands across the community.

The award recognizes the Chamber’s dedication to fostering entrepreneurship and hands-on experience among local youth.

The program encourages creativity, problem-solving, and an entrepreneurial mindset that will benefit participants well into their futures.

“Receiving this award is an honor for our chamber and acknowledges the positive impact The Local Lemon has on our community,” said Tamara Tateosian, CEO of the Callaway Chamber of Commerce.
