Representative Chad Perkins Elected Speaker Pro Tem of the Missouri House of Representatives
The Missouri House of Representatives has elected Representative Chad Perkins as Speaker Pro Tem.
Representative Perkins, a committed advocate for his district and a steadfast supporter of conservative values, will take on this key leadership role, helping to shape the legislative agenda and guide the work of the House as it addresses the needs of Missourians statewide.
In response to his election, Representative Perkins expressed gratitude for the confidence placed in him by his colleagues.
“I am truly honored by the trust that the caucus has shown in me,” Perkins said. “As Speaker Pro Tem, I am committed to working hard on behalf of our caucus to enact policies that benefit our constituents. Together, we will advance common-sense legislation that strengthens our communities, supports our families, and promotes prosperity across the state of Missouri.”
Representative Perkins will begin his role in January, working closely with House leadership to represent the interests of Missourians and ensure the success of key priorities in the upcoming legislative session.
