Former Mexico Lady Bulldogs basketball star and current Columbia College Lady Cougar, Mya Miller earned her first Socket Player of the Game honors this season as she helped her team to a 77 – 62 win over Central Methodist University on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

Miller put up 12 points and went a perfect 5 – 5 shooting from the floor.

Miller also pulled down 7 rebounds.

Miller is in her junior year with Columbia College.

The Lady Cougars improved to 3 – 0 on the season and improved their home winning streak to 33 games with their 15-point win over Central Methodist University.

The 24th ranked Missouri Tigers football team shared positive injury updates in the first availability report of the week ahead of their Week 11 match-up with Oklahoma.

Starting quarterback Brady Cook was listed as questionable for the game against the Sooners.

Cook is dealing with an ankle injury he suffered against Auburn and an upper body injury he suffered against Alabama.

Tigers starting running back Nate Noel was also listed as questionable in yesterday’s (Wednesday) availability report.

Mizzou hosts Oklahoma on Saturday with a 6:45 kickoff.

University of Missouri women’s basketball will host Southern at Mizzou Arena tonight (Thursday) for the home opener.

Missouri is 41 – 8 all-time in home openers including a 14 – 0 record in the Robin Pingeton era.

Tip off is set for 6:30.
