Centralia Teen Seriously Injured in Boone County Vehicle Accident
A Centralia teen is recovering from serious injuries following a one-car accident in Boone County during the evening hours of Saturday, September 21, 2024.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report it happened on Route UU at Schooler Road when a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Tyler J. Hawkins failed to stop at a stop sign.
The 2014 Volkswagen Jetta traveled across Route U and struck a tree.
Hawkins was transported by Boone Ambulance to University Hospital for treatment.
