Goal of Lower Wait Times at Department of Motor Vehicles
The Missouri Department of Revenue is making an effort to lower customer wait times in driver license offices across the state.
Starting October 1st, a wait time compliance program will be launched.
The goal is to ensure customers get in and out of DMV’s between 15 and 30 minutes.
This applies to privately-run license offices that have contracts with the state.
Failure to abide by the state’s contract time could result in punishments of the contractor losing the office.
