Audrain Ambulance District Ambulance Catches Fire While Transporting Patient
An ambulance from the Audrain Ambulance District is a total loss after catching fire the afternoon of Tuesday, August 22, 2023 while transporting a patient to Columbia.
Audrain Ambulance District Director Graeme Goodwin says it happened around 2:30pm on I-70 and that they are now down to one spare ambulance.
Goodwin says the cause of the ambulance fire and the total dollar amount of damage is unknown.
