Vandalia Man and Woman Arrested on Drug Charges
A Vandalia man and woman are facing drug charges after an arrest on Friday, July 29, 2023.
Members of the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office and East Central Drug Force executed a narcotics search warrant in the 200 block of East Home Street in Vandalia.
According to the news release as a result of the search, officers seized Methamphetamine, Psilocybin mushroom, one firearm, and multiple items of Drug Paraphernalia used in the distribution of illegal controlled substances.
45-year-old William Shaun Hopkins, and 30-year-old Lila Leighann Howell were arrested and taken to the Audrain County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
