The Mexico Bulldogs baseball team wrapped up their regular season last night (Monday) with a 4-0 loss to the Moberly Spartans.

Bulldogs pitcher Austin Maxwell struck out three. Maxwell, Sam Ryan and Andrew Runge collected one hit to lead Mexico’s offense.

Up next Mexico plays Moberly in round one of the District Tournament on Saturday, May 13th at 10am in Macon.

The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Chicago Cubs 3-1 at Wrigley Field last night (Monday).

Newly acquired St. Louis Cardinal Wilson Contreras made his former team pay with a two-hit, two RBI night in the victory.

The Kansas City Royals defeated the Chicago White Sox 12-5 at the K.

MJ Melendez homered and drove in four runs.

Kansas City had its highest-scoring game this season and won consecutive home games for the first time since winning four straight at Kauffman Stadium last September.
