Mexico Baseball Plays Fulton and Moberly Over the Weekend Gearing Up for Regular Season Finale

Mexico Bulldogs baseball played a pair of games over the weekend in a tournament.

The Bulldogs lost 4-1 to the Fulton Hornets.

Andrew Runge was the starting pitcher for the Bulldogs and struck out two.

Tyler Thoenen led Mexico with two hits in four at bats.

Mexico then played Moberly and lost 7-3.

Ty Simms got the starting pitching nod for the Bulldogs and struck out nine over five innings.

Gage Walker struck out one in relief.

Drew DeMint led Mexico with two hits in two at bats.

Mexico wraps up the regular season tonight (Monday) against Moberly.

The Bulldogs will play against Moberly again in the first round of districts Saturday morning at 10 in Macon.
