Mizzou Has Success in 2025 NFL Draft

The NFL’s Annual Player Selection meeting was held over the weekend, and it would have to be deemed a success for the University of Missouri.

The Tigers saw the Jets draft right tackle Armand Membou with the seventh overall pick, then at pick 39, the Chicago Bears selected wide receiver Luther Burden III. Finally, in the seventh round, the New England Patriots drafted offensive tackle Marcus Bryant with the 220th overall pick.

Several other Tigers have signed undrafted free agent deals, including:

  • Quarterback Brady Cook signed with the New York Jets
  • Defensive end Johnny Walker Jr. signed with the Denver Broncos
  • Wide receiver Theo Wease Jr. and running back Nate Noel signed with the Miami Dophins

Two other Mizzou players got mini-camp invites to display their skill set to teams. Offensive guard Cam’Ron Johnson will camp with the Cleveland Browns, while long snapper Trey Flint got an invite from the Kansas City Chiefs.
