The Mexico High School girls soccer team shutout Wright City 1-0 at the Mexico High School on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Brenda Matuz scored the goal for the Lady Bulldogs following a free kick by Emily Moppin into the box.

Mexico head coach Sarah Olson says “It was great to get a win over a district opponent. We possessed really well and moved the ball quickly.”

With the victory over Wright City, the Lady Bulldogs improve to 3-2 on the season.

The Mexico High School boys tennis team lost 6-3 to Fulton in Fulton on Monday, Mrach 31, 2025.

  • Southern Boone beat Marshall 5-2
  • Moberly defeated Kirksville 5-1
  • Blair Oaks was victorious over Owensville 5-2

In high school baseball on Monday, March 31, 2025:

  • Eugene lost to Iberia 13-7
  • Fulton defeated Eldon 13-6
  • North Callaway took down California 9-2
  • Harrisburg over Fayette 7-1
  • Moberly shutout Kirksville 7-0
  • Missouri Military Academy loses to Versailles 19-3
  • New Franklin bested Madison 18-3
  • Glasgow edged out Jamestown 5-4

The St. Louis Cardinals suffered their first loss of the season 5-4 to the Los Angeles Angels in 10 innings at Busch Stadium on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Cardinals leadoff hitter Lars Nootbaar hit a home run to give the Redbirds an early lead.

Cardinals pitching allowed multiple walks which ultimately led to the loss.

The Kansas City Royals dominated the Milwaukee Brewers 11-1 in Milwaukee.

With the win the Royals evened their record at 2-2.

The St. Louis Blues will try to win their 10th consecutive game tonight when they host the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
