Country 96-95.7 FM will host a double header in high school basketball on Saturday, Mar. 15, 2025.

In the Class 4 Quarterfinals the Mexico Lady Bulldogs travel to St. Louis to play MICDS with a 1pm tip.

Following that game and a quick trip on I-70 from St. Louis to the Mexico High School, Country 96 will broadcast the Class 4 Quarterfinals game between the Mexico Bulldogs boys and Vashon.

Tipoff is at 7pm.

In high school basketball last (Friday) night starting off in Class 1 State Semifinals the Cairo girls defeated Rock Port 56-46.

The Cairo girls will meet Chadwick in the championship game at Mizzou Arena at 8 tonight (Saturday).

In Class 2 State Semifinals St. Vincent beat the Tipton girls 56-50.

In Class 1 boys State Semifinals St. Elizabeth took down Braymer 78-63,

St. Elizabeth meets Chadwick for the championship tonight (Saturday) at 6.

In Class 4 State Quarterfinals Tolton lost 59-50 to Logan-Rogersville.

Tolton will play for third place tonight. In the Class 5 State Quarterfinals the Helias boys lost to Parkview 63-50.

Helias will go for a third place finish tonight.

The Missouri men’s basketball team were eliminated from the SEC Tournament last night (Friday) with a 95-81 loss to Florida.

Senior Tamar Bates led the Tigers in scoring for the second-straight night with 16 points.

The Tigers head to the NCAA Tournament with a 22-11 record.

In Spring Training yesterday (Friday) the St. Louis Cardinals played the New York Mets to a 3-3 tie.

The Kansas City Royals beat the Los Angeles Angels 9-8.

The St. Louis Blues will be on the road tonight (Saturday) skating against the Minnesota Wild. Puck drops at 7pm.
