The Mexico Bulldogs get their postseason underway in the Class 4 District 8 Tournament with a semifinal game against the Centralia Panthers at the Moberly High School on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Mexico is the number 1 seed and had a first round bye. Centralia is the 5 seed and advanced by beating Moberly 67-59 in overtime on Monday night.

Tipoff set for 6pm.

Postseason for local high school basketball teams continued on Tuesday March 4, 2025.

In the girls Class 4 District 8 Tournament, the Mexico Lady Bulldogs beat the Moberly Spartans in their first round game by a score of 58-43.

Mexico Senior Claire Hudson put up a triple-double and ended up with 12 points.

Mexico will play Fulton on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

Hallsville advances to play Kirksville tomorrow night (Thursday) at the Mexico High School.

The Tipton Lady Cardinals took down the Harrisburg Lady Bulldogs 58-25.

Tipton is now just one win away from a third straight trip to the state final four on Saturday.

Tipton will match up with Clopton on Saturday.

In Centralia, the Lady Panthers defeated Tolton, 69-52.

Centralia’s sophomore Ryenn Gordon scored a game-high 33 points.

South Shelby had their season come to an end with a 46-28 loss to Principia.

Centralia and Principia will play on Saturday.

St. Elizabeth cruised past Northwest Hughesville 62-29.

The Lady Hornets will go to Walnut Grove on Saturday.

15th ranked University of Missouri men’s basketball makes the trip to Oklahoma for its final true road game of the season on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Tipoff is set for 7pm.

The St. Louis Blues are on the road skating against the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
