Mexico Boys and Girls Basketball Teas Heat Up Gary Filbert Court With Wins Over Moberly During Winter Warming 2025

The Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls basketball teams picked up victories over the Moberly Spartans at the Mexico High School on Friday, February 7th, 2025.

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs defeated the Moberly Lady Spartans 51-28.

With the win the Lady Bulldogs snapped a four-game losing skid and beat Moberly for a second time this season.

Freshman Alyssa Miller continued her sharp shooting from behind the arc by making four three-pointers on a 14 point night.

Claire Hudson and Scottie Smith scored 10 points each.

The Mexico girls improved to 9-10 on the season and 3-3 in the North Central Missouri Conference.

After the game senior Claire Hudson was recognized for reaching 1,000 career points.

Hudson reached the milestone on January 21st against Macon.

The Mexico Bulldogs boys basketball team dominated Moberly 75-57.

Mexico made 11 three-pointers as a team.

Jaydon Eldridge led the Bulldogs offense with 18 points.

Charlie Fisher finished with 15 points.

Kaden Benne had 12 points.

Mexico won their sixth game in a row and improved to 14-5 overall.

The Bulldogs remained perfect in the North Central Missouri Conference pushing their record to 6-0.

PJ Perkins was crowned the 2025 Mr. Bulldog after the game. PJ was escorted by Emily Moppin.
