In high school basketball on 1/30/25, on the girls side:

  • Rock Bridge outlasted Hickman 45-43
  • Jefferson City Lady Jays beat Warrensburg 68-46
  • Boonville defeated Fatima 53-30
  • Moberly Lady Spartans over Southern Boone 59-53
  • In the Sturgeon Tournament it was the South Callaway girls taking down Sturgeon 53-29
  • Salisbury over New Franklin 37-32
  • Community R-VI Lady Trojans lost to Westran 42-35

On the boys side:

  • In the Harrisburg Tournament, Blair Oaks beat Centralia 52-51
  • Hallsville came back and beat Harrisburg 68-58
  • Marshall defeated Fayette 66-57
  • Fulton beat Linn 72-32
  • Moberly edged out Southern Boone 64-61
  • In the Hermann Tournament Montgomery County dominated St. James 54-22
  • Hermann beat Warrenton 44-20
  • The Keytesville Tournament saw Higbee cruise to a 61-16 win over Wellsville-Middletown

Hallsville and Blair Oaks meet tomorrow for the Harrisburg Tournament Championship.

University of Missouri women’s basketball could not overtake 5th ranked Texas, falling 70-61 last night on the road.

Senior forward Laniah Randle led Missouri with a season-high 22 points, added four steals and three rebounds.

Up next the Mizzou women return home to face Tennessee at 2pm on Sunday.

In hockey tonight (Friday), the St. Louis Blues are on the road skating against the Colorado Avalanche.

Puck drops at 8pm.
