Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting a Juvenile at a Moberly Restaurant
A Moberly man is being held in the Randolph County Jail without bond after being arrested and charged with molestation of a child less than 12 years old.
According to online court records 32-year-old Hector Marcos-Perez allegedly sexually assaulted a child in the bathroom of a Moberly restaurant the evening of January 2, 2025.
The child reportedly told someone they were with at the restaurant about the alleged incident, and that person reported the alleged incident to police the same day.
According to court documents police used security footage taken outside the bathroom to confirm Marcos-Perez was in the bathroom the same time as the child.
Marcos-Perez was a waiter at the restaurant.
The name of the restaurant was redacted from court documents.
