Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Vehicle in Audrain County Accident
A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Audrain County during the early morning hours of Sunday, December 8, 2024.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol it happened on Westbound U.S. 54, just east of Audrain Road 964 shortly after midnight.
The accident report reads it happened when a 31-year-old man from Justin, Texas was walking westbound in the driving lane of U.S. 54 Westbound, when a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old man from Vandalia, Missouri collided with the pedestrian in the driving lane.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased by EMS on scene.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
